The second phase project of Metro Qianchuan Line in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, has passed its safety assessment before the initial operation on Monday.

The Qianchuan Line is built in two phases, and the second phase extends from Huangpi Square Station to Hengdian Station, with a total length of 15.11 kilometers.

Upon completion of the second phase project, it will connect with the first phase of Qianchuan Line and Line 7, offering convenience for nearby residents and boosting the economic development of northern areas in the city. The metro mileage in the city will exceed 500 kilometers with 303 stations. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
