The Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park has recently been designated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

Regarded as the "root of Wuhan", the Panlongcheng site was named among China's Top 10 New Archaeological Discoveries of 2024. The site, bearing the civilization of the Shang Dynasty over 3,500 years ago, takes the 4.86-square-kilometer Panlongcheng National Archaeological Site Park as its core. It integrates site protection, archaeological research, cultural exhibition, and leisure tourism, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in tracing the Shang civilization along the Yangtze River basin. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
