Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is projected to handle 717 takeoffs and landings on Feb. 12, 2026, setting a new single-day record.

During the first 10 days of this year's Spring Festival travel rush, Hubei witnessed 20,453 flight takeoffs and landings across the province. Among them, the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport recorded 6,798 takeoffs and landings, averaging about 680 per day.

According to forecasts, the airport's daily flight volume is expected to remain above 700 between Feb. 13 and 15, before gradually declining on Feb. 16 (Chinese New Year's Eve). Another travel peak is anticipated around Feb. 21 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year). (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
