Hubei Province registered 54,513 technology contracts in 2021, with an overall turnover of 211.163 billion yuan, surging by 37.14 percent and 25.17 percent year on year, respectively, according to the data released by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology on Feb. 24.

In 2021, Hubei absorbed 38,641 technologies to reach 160.087 billion yuan in transaction volume, with a year-on-year increase of 53.14 percent and 14.07 percent, respectively.

During the period, a total of 54,148 technologies were exported from the province, with a turnover of 209.078 billion yuan, ascending by 37.36 percent and 25.51 percent year on year, respectively. （en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
