Hubei promotes construction of 500 major cultural and tourism projects since beginning of 2022
Since the beginning of 2022, Hubei’s culture and tourism projects have been promoted rapidly with the number of continued and new projects of over 100 million yuan each surpassing 500, according to Provincial Culture and Tourism Department on March 23.
Culture and tourism departments at all level in the province have approved 346 continued projects of over 100 million yuan each. So far, 335 projects have been resumed, contributing to a work resumption rate of 96.8 percent.
204 new projects worth above 100 million yuan have been reported by local culture and tourism departments, 58 projects out of which have been under construction as of March 18.
Among the projects to start construction, Yichang saw 21 projects break ground, marking work resumption rate up to 65.6 percent, followed by Huanggang, Jingzhou and Xiangyang of 13 projects, 8 projects and 7 projects with work resumption rates hitting 36.1 percent, 32 percent and 33.3 percent, respectively.
