The largest fish cake in the world was made in Jiangling County, Jingzhou City of Hubei Province, on March 23.

The fish cake, with a diameter of 4.28 meters and an area of about 14.4 square meters, has been recognized as the world’s largest one by the World Record Certification Agency (WRCA).

Jingzhou is reputed as the top city of freshwater fisheries in China. Jingzhou Fish Cake is an intangible cultural heritage in Hubei and the protected product of national geographical indications (GIs). Its brand building keeps pace with the development of modern ecological fishery, which plays an important role in the strategy of rural revitalization in the city.（en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
