Trade between Hubei Province and members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) saw steady growth since the trade agreement took effect at the beginning of this year, official data showed on April 13.

A total of 502 import and export enterprises in Hubei enjoyed the preferential treatment in the first quarter of 2022, with a total value of 300 million yuan.

Of the total, exports of chemical products, textile and garment dominated during the period. Wuhan Customs issued 882 RCEP certificates of origin worth 273 million yuan.

In terms of imports, Wuhan Customs inspected and released 68 types of preferential goods from RCEP member countries, with a value of 26.67 million yuan.（en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
