MBEC completes 15 bridges worldwide in H1 of 2022

China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group (MBEC) Co., Ltd., constructor of the first bridge in China--Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, completed 15 bridges worldwide in the first half of 2022.


The fifteen bridges, including Oujiang North Estuary Bridge in Zhejiang Province, Binhai Bay Bridge in Guangdong, Selander Bridge in Tanzania and Padma Multipurpose Bridge in Bangladesh, are located in many cities in China and the countries along the Belt and Road. They span over the seas, rivers and deserts with complex and variable geological conditions.


Founded in April 1953 in Wuhan, MBEC has built over 3,000 bridges around the world over the past 70 years, amounting to 3,600 kilometers in total, which make it the world's largest bridge designer and constructor as well as a sparkling name card for China in bridge engineering.
