As of now, Hubei Province has boasted 38 bridges spanning the Yangtze River, tying for first place with Chongqing Municipality, according to the Department of Transportation of Hubei Province.

Five other bridges are under construction, according to the same source.

From 2012 to 2022, 17 Yangtze River bridges have been put into operation in the province: 5 in Huanggang, 4 in Wuhan, 4 in Yichang, 2 in Jingzhou and 2 in Xianning.
