Over 40 bln yuan of goods benefit from free trade agreements in Hubei in 2022
Wuhan Customs inspected and released goods worth a total of 40.368 billion yuan under the free trade agreements in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 13.57 percent.
Imported goods of 9.756 billion yuan in Hubei have been handled by the customs under the free trade agreements, with 598 million yuan of tariffs reduced, rising by 35.58 percent and 27.41 percent, respectively. The province’s imports mainly benefit from China-ASEAN, China-ROK and RCEP free trade agreements.
The customs issued 48,200 certificates of origin for goods worth a total of 30.612 billion yuan, up 2.93 percent and 7.99 percent year on year, respectively. The benefit to the province’s exports from China-ASEAN, China-ROK and China-Chile free trade agreements ranked the top three in 2022. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
