A cargo train carrying 348 new energy vehicles produced by local companies departed from Shiyan, Hubei Province, on March 27.

The vehicles will be sent to Fengbang Station near Shanghai and transferred to France by sea.

In order to improve transportation efficiency, automobile companies in Hubei have adopted rail-sea intermodal transportation starting from April 2022.

Since this year, a total of 1,740 new energy vehicles manufactured in Shiyan have been exported to France via rail-sea combined transport. The figure is expected to reach more than 30,000 throughout the year. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
