Hubei saw 4.2825 million domestic tourist trips made during the Qingming Festival, which falls on Wednesday, up 20.94 percent from last year, according to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hubei Province.

The trips were estimated to bring in 2.056 billion yuan in tourist revenue, with a year-on-year increase of 29.88 percent.

During the holiday, A-level tourist attractions in the province received 1.5241 million visits, jumping by 49.57 percent from last year. The average rental rate of star hotels in the province reached 44.45 percent, ascending by 9 percent year on year. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
