A total of 53 containers, loaded with 1,370 tons of fertilizers from Salihorsk, Belarus via the China-Europe freight train, left the Yangluo Port in Wuhan on April 26.

The fertilizers will be sent to Yantai, east China's Shandong Province, along the golden waterway of the Yangtze River.

The rail-sea intermodal transportation of whole containers was adopted for the first time, and the transportation journey is expected to take 35 days.

Up to now, a total of 20,946 TEU (20-foot equivalent unit) containers have been transferred from Wuhan to domestic cities via the Yangluo Port. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
