A freight train loaded with 55 standard containers of 110 Great Wall cars, departed from the Duodao Station in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, on May 19. It was expected to arrive in Russia after 20 days.

As the first tailor-made China-Europe freight train for exporting cars, named Yangtze River, it can save about 75 percent of logistics cost compared to air freight and shorten by more than 50 percent of logistics time compared to water freight.

This is the second China-Europe trade channel opened in Jingmen after the Jingmen - Wuhan - Europe freight train service launched on February 19, 2021. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
