The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) was opened on June 7 in south China’s Shenzhen City, where the Hubei Hall was unveiled to display the Jing-Chu culture and Hubei’s scenery.
Covering an area of 405 square meters, the Hubei Hall has adopted an integration of culture and technologies to display more than 5,000 products, including 24 national intangible cultural relics.
3,596 delegations from governments, enterprises and institutions, 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan participated in the five-day event as exhibitors.
Since its establishment in 2004, ICIF has been promoting Chinese culture overseas and introducing foreign cultures to China. It has grown into the most effective and influential exhibition of cultural industry in China, and has become an important engine to promote the development of China’s cultural industry.
