Data from travel platform Ctrip showed that the total number of tourism orders in Hubei increased by 14 percent month on month in July.

Summer has always been the peak season for tourism. In this summer vacation, Hubei’s outbound tourism orders grew by 50 percent year on year, while the inbound tourism orders surged by 78 percent year on year.

From July 1 to 22, the number of night tour orders in Hubei rose by 10 percent compared with the same period of last month.

The overall summer tourism orders in Wuhan witnessed a 11-percent increase month on month. Especially, the tourism orders in local museums expanded by 145 percent month on month. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
