The Hubei Provincial Museum, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, ranked 14th among the museums in the world in 2023, according to the TEA/AECOM Theme Index & Museum Index jointly released by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and the AECOM Technology Corporation recently.

The report shows that six other Chinese museums – the National Museum of China, the China Science and Technology Museum, the Nanjing Museum, the Suzhou Museum, the Hunan Museum and the Guangdong Museum - are also listed among the global top 20.

In the year of 2023, the 70th anniversary of its establishment, Hubei Provincial Museum totally received 4.36 million visitors, which was 182 percent of the record 2.4 million in 2019. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
