The Jingmen-Jingzhou high-speed railway started operation on Sunday.

The line stretches 77.5 kilometer, with a total investment of 11.7 billion yuan and a designed speed of 350 km per hour. It features three stations including Jingmenxi Station, Shayangxi Station and Jingzhou Station.

The Jingmen-Jingzhou high-speed railway will reduce travel time from Jingmen to Jingzhou to approximately 24 minutes, and will shorten travel time between Wuhan and Jingmen to an hour and a half. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
