Int'l air cargo route launched between Ezhou and Paris

A Boeing B777F cargo plane, carrying 92 tonnes of e-commerce goods, took off from Ezhou Huahu International Airport in Hubei Province on Friday, bound for Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.


It marks the launching of the 31st international cargo route in Ezhou Huahu International Airport.


China’s Central Airlines is running the air cargo service and plans to operate it one time per week at the preliminary stage. The new route is expected to provide 30,000 tonnes of air cargo capacity for the transportation of goods between Ezhou and Paris each year, which mainly transports cross-border e-commerce goods.


The Ezhou Huahu International Airport, which began operations in July 2022, is a cargo-focused hub airport with extensive cargo traffic and some passenger traffic. It has launched 53 domestic cargo routes and 31 international cargo routes. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
