Ezhou approved to establish cross-border e-commerce pilot zone

Ezhou of central China's Hubei was approved to establish the comprehensive pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce, the State Council announced on April 25, 2025 with other 14 cities and regions also approved.


Ezhou Huahu International Airport has opened a total of 96 domestic and international cargo routes, with accumulated international throughput exceeding 1.66 million tons over the past two years of operation. The cross-border e-commerce goods are the largest international source of goods at Huahu International Airport, around 50 percent of the total.


The establishment of the comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zones aims to effectively help maintain the scale and structure of foreign trade, and promote innovation and development of business models.


It will attract more cross-border e-commerce enterprises to Ezhou. (en.hubei.gov.cn)
