The Hubei delegation gained 11,863 orders worth a total of 640 million U.S. dollars at the 137th China Import and Export Fair, which concluded on May 5 in south China's Guangdong Province.

Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe have become major markets. The countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative contributed 61 percent to the transaction volume. The transaction volume of mechanical and electrical products reached 216 million U.S. dollars, accounting for 34.5 percent of the total.

Also known as the Canton Fair, the event is held twice a year in Guangzhou.
