Enshi launches first international air route

The Xujiaping International Airport in Enshi, Hubei Province, launched a direct flight route to Vietnam starting from June 12, 2025.


It marks the first international air route opened by Enshi air port since its official opening.


The Enshi-Hanoi air route is operated by West Air using Airbus A320, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  


The launch of this route will significantly enhance cooperation between Enshi and Vietnam, as well as other ASEAN countries, in trade, culture, tourism, science, and education.


The Xujiaping International Airport plans to open a new route from Enshi to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on July 4, followed by other routes linking Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Bangkok (Thailand), Seoul (South Korea), Busan (South Korea), and Cheongju (South Korea). (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
