A Kodiak 100 aircraft carrying oranges took off from Zhanghe Airport in Jingmen for Liangping Airport in Chongqing on Tuesday, marking the launch of the first trans-provincial low-altitude cargo flight route in Hubei Province.

The Jingmen - Chongqing cargo flight route takes approximately two hours for a one-way trip. It can carry up to 1.2 tonnes of goods and enables the delivery of goods between the two places within the same day. The route operates three flights per week.

The launch of this route marks a significant breakthrough in the low-altitude economic development of Jingmen. It will greatly enhance Jingmen's role as a regional transportation and logistics hub, and facilitate the coordinated development of regional industry and supply chains. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
