During the 2026 Spring Festival and Lantern Festival period, Hubei will present a grand, diverse, and province-wide cultural and tourism feast.

Preliminary statistics show that over 1,500 cultural and tourism activities in total will be organized across the province, including more than 200 New Year goods fairs, over 300 artistic performances, approximately 300 folk-custom village galas, and in excess of 200 temple fairs and lantern exhibitions.

Most activities will kick off around the Little New Year's Day (around February 10 on the lunar calendar) and last until after the Lantern Festival (March 3), with some extending into late March.

In addition, museums and memorial halls at all levels across the province will remain open normally during the period and will host various cultural activities and themed events, offering both local and out-of-town tourists culturally-rich experiences.

During the Spring Festival, Hubei will issue cultural and tourism consumption subsidy totaling over 100 million yuan, warmly inviting domestic and international tourists to celebrate the festival together. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
