An exhibition, featuring the ethnic clothing from the Yangtze River Basin, opened on Jan. 12 at the Changjiang Civilization Museum, in Hubei’s capital city Wuhan.
The exhibition, taking clothing of some representative ethnic groups rooted in the Yangtze River Basin as the carrier, aims to present the splendid culture of the region.
Some folk musical instruments, like flute and sheepskin drum of the ethnic group Qiang, as well as the national intangible heritages including the Bai nationality tie-dye and Miao Embroidery, are also introduced at the exhibition. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
