The cherry blossoms in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, will usher in initial bloom stage in mid-March this year, with a flowering period of about 17 days, the Hubei Provincial Meteorological Bureau said.

According to the forecast, the cherry blossoms in Wuhan University are expected to enter into early-bloom stage on March 15 and full-bloom stage on March 22, which will end in early April.

The East Lake Cherry Blossom Park, covering a total area of nearly 520 mu, allows visitors to enjoy the pure beauty of cherry blossoms in a more concentrated way. The cherry blossoms at the park will begin flowering around 5 days later than that of Wuhan University, and will usher in the full-bloom period in late March.
