Tour of natural history as a Parisianer
Fancy entering the tunnel of time and exploring the history of life and the earth from its origins to the distant future? Take a look at the latest exhibition "The Parisianer, Chronicles of Our Planet" and find answers on your own.
The exhibition, part of activities for the 2022 Francophonie Festival in Wuhan, opened on April 1 in Wuhan Tiandi. It is a collective artistic project launched by the French National Museum of Natural History (Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle) and the renowned artists' collective "The Parisianer." Through 21 covers of a fictitious magazine, it retraces the highlights of our planet's history and of naturalist discoveries, and also imagines the future of the earth where historical figures of France such as Voltaire and Buffon are depicted in humorous science fiction scenarios.
