On the evening of June 6, the first Star Camping Festival kicked off on the playground of Wuhan Huaxia Institute of Technology.

During the event, students made a model rocket body with plastic bottles, filled it with water, and then used a pump to fill it with air. A powerful column of water pushed the rocket into the sky, splashing water everywhere. Later they learned how to observe the sky with different astronomical telescopes. Amid live music, students drew stars with sand and clay.

At 10:00 p.m., they set up tents and lay down in them, chatting with friends in the cool summer breeze about the past and the future.
