The Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) released ten new policies on July 23 to provide all-round support for foreign-funded enterprises.

According to the policies, WHZD will offer 3 million yuan to foreign-funded enterprises that set up their headquarters or regional headquarters in the zone and a reward of up to 3 million yuan to encourage their innovation. Subsidies for premises and talents as well as subsidized loans will also be granted to foreign-funded enterprises.

In recent years, WHZD has increased its efforts to attract foreign investment, seeing settlement of more than 120 auto and auto parts enterprises from more than 10 countries and regions, including UK, USA, France , Germany and Japan. Until the end of 2021, 412 foreign-funded enterprises had settled down in the zone. (en.hubei.gov.cn)
