The Luxun Bookstore & Art Gallery was opened in Wuhan on Sept. 16, becoming the second of its chain in China.

Located in the Three Kingdoms History and Culture Park, Junshan New City in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, the store was jointly built by Beijing Luxun Museum and the zone, providing more than 50,000 kinds of reading materials including book collections from the museum.

The image and legacy of Lu Xun, the leading figure of modern Chinese literature, is obvious in the store as can be seen from his portrait at the entrance, the "Complete Works of Lu Xun" in numerous editions on the bookshelves, as well as research monographs, picture albums, and memoirs. A reading area and a book-selling area have been set up inside the bookstore to meet the diverse needs of readers.
