The 27th China Wuhan Tea Industry Expo concluded on Monday in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

The exhibition covered an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, with the participation of 813 enterprises from 17 provinces and cities, and countries along the Belt and Road.

During the four-day event, the accumulative contract amount stood at 2.238 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 63.47 percent. Of the total, the transaction volume in both online and offline forms reached 531 million yuan, up 49.26 percent year on year. And the intended turnover was 1.707 billion yuan, soaring by 76.12 percent year on year.

In addition, a total of 47 contract projects relating to tea industry, which were submitted from Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Xiangyang City, Huangshi City, Lichuan City, Yingshan County, etc, achieved cumulative contract amount of 1.691 billion yuan. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
