A container ship named “Huahang Hanya No.5” made its maiden voyage and arrived at Yangluo Port in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, on June 22.

It marked the third container ship for direct freight shipping routes linking Wuhan with Japan and South Korea.

Huahang Hanya No.5 is 118.3 meters long and 20.806 meters wide. The ship has a maximum container capacity of 556 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units).

The imports and exports of containers from direct freight shipping routes linking Wuhan with Japan and South Korea amounted to 6,891 TEUs, up 14.17 percent year on year. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
