The 10th Wuhan International Drama Season, which will run for four months, is going to raise the curtain on September 16.

This year, 42 performances from six countries, namely, China, the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, France, and South Korea will be staged.

The performances include dramas like Sunrise, Pride and Prejudice, films like The Nutcracker, Good, Life of Pi, and stage plays like Anatomy of The Piano, Fantasy Bubble Show, Legend of Rahula and other classic works.

Wuhan International Drama Season has been held annually since 2014. It has seen a total of 60 repertoires apply this year, of which 26 have been carefully selected as the final programmes. The cheapest tickets of the performances will cost only 30 yuan, and 1,000 tickets will be given to people from all walks of life who have greatly contributed to the city. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Xin Mingcan and Ruan Xinqi)
