A freight train, carrying 55 standard containers of 165 automobiles, departed from Wujiashan station in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, heading for Sverdlovsk Oblast in Russia on September 8.

The train is expected to arrive in Sverdlovsk Oblast in 14 days, which can save two to three days compared to the route to Moscow.

The China-Europe (Wuhan) freight trains have launched direct routes to cities such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vorotensk and Nizhnekamsk in Russia.

So far, the China-Europe (Wuhan) freight trains have transported goods to 113 cities in 40 countries across the Eurasia via 49 regular cross-border routes. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
