Wuhan Tianhe Airport has announced details of its flight schedule for the winter season, which will commence from October 29.

The schedule includes 5,449 flights weekly and an average of 778 flights daily during the winter season, a rise of 31.3 percent from the same period of 2019.

After adjustment, 5,001 domestic passenger flights will be handled at the airport every week, with a daily average of 714 flights, linking Wuhan with 97 cities across the country. Meanwhile, the airport has launched eight express routes to offer over ten flights to other major cities.

The airport has resumed a batch of international flights currently. Operated by nine foreign airlines and eight domestic airlines, they are bound for 18 international and regional destinations such as San Francisco, London, Sydney, Dubai, Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Seoul and Bangkok, among which, the flights to Hong Kong and Bangkok amounted to four daily. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi and Xin Mingcan)
