The Metro Line 19 in Wuhan unveiled its seven new stations on December 12, 2023. 

Built underground, the seven include two featured stations and five standard stations, namely, the West Square of Wuhan Railway Station, Wudong Station, Gujiashan Station, Huashanxincheng Station, Huashanhe Station, Optics Valley No. 5 Road Station and Xinyuexi Park Station. 

With a total length of about 23.2 kilometers, Metro Line 19 starts from Wuhan Railway Station and ends at Gaoxin No. 2 Road Station, passing through Wudong Road, Huacheng Avenue, Huashan Avenue, and Optics Valley No. 5 Road. It is designed to connect Hongshan and Qingshan districts, East Lake Scenic Area, and East Lake High-tech Development Zone at a maximum speed of 120 km per hour, the fastest in Wuhan at present. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
