The third phase project of the East Lake Greenway in Wuhan started construction recently.

With a total length of 3.45 kilometers, the third project will realize the separation of paths for motor vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians. It is expected to open to the public in June 2024.

Adding the first phase project which was completed on December 28, 2016 with a length of 28.7 kilometers, and the second phase project which was completed on December 26, 2017 with a length of 73.3 km, the East Lake Greenway will link up with 105 kilometers in whole next year. (Photo: Jimu News/Li Hui)
