On February 21, a traditional dragon dance competition along with a gong and drum competition kicked off in the Wuhan Acrobatics Hall. The event brought together 23 local dragon teams and 21 drum teams to showcase their skills in two thrilling competitions. The dragon dance competition featured a variety of forms, including soaring dragons and leaping lions, integrated dances, dual performances, etc., whilethe drum competition included hand drums, opera drums, waist drums, to name a few. Traditional folk performances like high-platform lions, lotus picking boats, and ribbon dragons were also part of the festivities.
