Grain trade conference to be held in Wuhan
The sixth China Grain Trade Conference, scheduled to run from Oct. 18 to 20, will be held in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, authorities said on Monday.
The conference will invite delegations from 31 provinces, municipalities and regions, and over 3,000 grain-focused enterprises.
It will feature exhibitions of grain and oil products and technical equipment, business talks and related forums.
The conference is aimed at implementing the national grain security strategy, deepening grain supply-side structural reform, strengthening cooperation between grain producers and sellers, launching quality grain projects, promoting the high-quality development of the grain industry, and improving the national capacity to guarantee grain security.
The China Grain Trade Conference is the most influential event in the national grain industry. It has been held for five sessions in the provinces of Heilongjiang, Henan, Fujian and Jilin. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
