Wuhan Tianhe Airport in Hubei Province is projected to adopt its summer flight schedule starting from March 31, which will end on October 26, 2024.

According to new schedule, the airport will handle 5,498 flights weekly, with a daily average of 785 flights, an increase of 12.4 percent year on year from from the same period in 2023 and 33 percent from 2019.

During the summer flight season, Wuhan Tianhe Airport will open three new domestic routes from Wuhan to Ulanhot, Turpan and Luliang, resume the route from Wuhan to Jiuzhaigou, and will also add flights to Kashgar, Lhasa, Huizhou.

In addition, the international flights linking Wuhan with Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Nha Trang, Hanoi and Vientiane will also be launched or increased. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
