A total of 183 projects with an investment of 328.368 billion yuan were inked during the first quarter (Q1) investment promotion conference held on Wednesday in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

More than 180 representatives of Fortune Global 500 companies, multinational giants, alumni entrepreneurs, science and technology innovative enterprises and business associations attended the conference.        

The projects covered the fields of intelligent manufacturing, new energy, biotechnology and cross-border e-commerce.

In 2023, Wuhan's economic aggregate exceeded 2 trillion yuan, and the total number of business entities reached 2.06 million. The newly-registered business entities have posted an average annual growth of 31.7 percent over the past three years. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
