China-U.S. Youth Exchange Roundtable held in Wuhan
The “Yangtze River-Mississippi River” China-U.S. Youth Exchange Roundtable was held on Monday at Central China Normal University in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.
Under the theme of “gathering the power of youth to promote green development”, the event attracted the participation of more than 40 youth representatives from China and the United States. They shared views on green development and ecological protection of the Yangtze River and Mississippi River, addressing global climate change and promoting sustainable development in light of their own practices.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. As a sub-event of the "Bridge of the Future" China-U.S. Youth Exchange Program, the roundtable is expected to provide opportunities for the young people to have in-depth exchanges, broaden horizons and enhance friendship.
