China-Africa Innovation Cooperation and Development Forum to open in Wuhan
The 2024 China-Africa Innovation Cooperation and Development Forum will be held on November 7 in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, according to a press briefing.
The forum will invite more than 800 experts and scholars from international organizations, domestic and foreign universities, as well as scientific research institutions.
Co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the People's Government of Hubei Province, the forum will feature 16 special activities including an opening ceremony, a keynote forum, and parallel sessions.
A total of 21 scientific and technological projects, relating to agricultural innovation, space technology, public health, fire protection, are expected to be inked at the opening ceremony.
In recent years, Hubei and Africa have forged unbreakable fraternity, and embarked on a distinct path of cooperation in the journey toward development and revitalization. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
