2025 World Health Expo kicks off in Wuhan

The 7th World Health Expo officially opened in Wuhan, Hubei’s capital city, on April 8, 2025, attracting nearly 700 exhibitors and experts from 18 countries and regions to participate in.
16 key projects with a total investment of 39.66 billion yuan, were signed at the opening ceremony. Cooperation intentions on a sum of 64 projects were reached during the expo, spanning biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical testing, clinical medicine and wellness sectors.
Beyond displaying AI’s widespread applications in healthcare, elderly care and health management, the expo has scheduled to host over 20 thematic forums.
Since its inception in 2019, the annual expo has served as a global platform for interactive displays, international partnerships, academic exchange, product trade and investment promotion of health industry. Over the past six editions, it has drawn over 7,000 enterprises and 1 million participants worldwide, witnessing 312 projects worth 557.835 billion yuan signed. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
